By using Soter Logistics services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Delivery Service
Soter Logistics provides courier and dispatch services within Port Harcourt and surrounding areas.
We aim to deliver all packages promptly. However, delivery times may vary depending on traffic conditions, weather, and other unforeseen circumstances.
Booking & Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when booking a delivery, including:
• Pickup location
• Delivery location
• Recipient contact details
• Package description
Soter Logistics is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information.
Additional charges may apply for re-delivery or corrections.
Proof of Delivery
All deliveries are considered complete once the package has been handed over to the recipient at the provided delivery address.
Confirmation of delivery may include:
• Recipient acknowledgement
• Phone confirmation
• Delivery confirmation from the rider
Customers are responsible for ensuring the correct recipient details are provided.
Unavailable Recipient
If the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery:
• The rider may wait for a reasonable period
• Additional waiting time or re-delivery charges may apply
Package Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all items are properly packaged for safe transportation.
Soter Logistics is not liable for damage caused by inadequate or improper packaging.
Restricted Items
Soter Logistics does not transport:
• Illegal items
• Hazardous materials
• Any item considered unsafe for delivery
We reserve the right to refuse any package that does not meet safety or legal requirements.
Delays
While we strive to deliver on time, Soter Logistics is not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control, including traffic, weather conditions, road restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Payments
All delivery charges must be agreed upon before dispatch.
Payments must be made as agreed between Soter Logistics and the customer.
Liability
Soter Logistics handles all deliveries with care. However, we are not liable for loss or damage beyond reasonable control.
Liability does not extend to:
• Poor packaging
• Incorrect delivery details
• Delays outside our control
Disputes & Claims
Any issues or complaints must be reported within a reasonable time after delivery.
All claims will be reviewed based on available delivery records and rider reports.
Refusal of Service
Soter Logistics reserves the right to refuse service where necessary, including but not limited to unsafe, illegal, or inappropriate delivery requests.
Agreement
By booking a delivery with Soter Logistics, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
